TSKP Studio

TSKP Studio was selected to serve as the Architect for the FHS Building Project, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the interior and exterior design phase and managing design specialists for universal design, kitchen design, and theater design.

 

O&G Industries

O&G Industries was selected to serve as the Construction Manager for the FHS Building Project, responsible for cost estimating, development of bid packages for construction, supervising construction contractors, maintaining the construction schedule, and keeping the site safe and secure throughout construction.

 
 

What is the role of the primary groups?

The Town Manager’s Office coordinates interaction, roles and responsibilities, and action steps/dates among the following groups:

Town Council - The Town Council will regularly review progress and updates at every scheduled meeting.

Board of Education - Superintendent’s Office/school administration will review the educational programming needs of the school. The Board of Education is responsible for approving any updates to the educational specifications and reviewing periodic updates and other interest groups.

Building Committee - The FHS Building Committee is responsible for project administration, and communication with town officials and other interest groups.

Town Plan and Zoning Commission - Town Plan and Zoning Commission is responsible for the site plan approval.

State of Connecticut - The Building Committee is working closely with the Office of School Construction Grants and Review to review plans. This Office is responsible for receiving the grant application and notifying the Building Committee regarding the project’s status on the priority list for State reimbursement.
